OUR MISSION

The Kirby-Randolph Foundation was founded for the purposes of promoting and assisting in continuing the success of academics and education for students.

The Kirby-Randolph Foundation was established by Quincey Lowery, Ramsey Lowery, and DeMarkus Kirby for the purpose of awarding an Alexis I. (A.I.) duPont High School senior a scholarship in preparation for college studies. Starting in 2023 the scholarship is opened up to all Delaware High school seniors. The fund is named in honor of the late Mildred Hambrick Randolph, grandmother of Quincey and Ramsey Lowery, as well as Rubenna D. Kirby, the grandmother of DeMarkus Kirby. Quincey, Ramsey, and DeMarkus are Alumni of A.I. duPont, who each excelled academically while attending A.I. duPont and have continuously been advocates for academic achievements to the students who succeed them.

Our goal is to promote excellence in academic fields for all students. The vision of Kirby-Randolph Foundation is for our reach to expand far past the classroom and give younger generations a sense of support throughout their educational journey. We strongly believe in “Paying it Forward,” which we continue to emphasize to our supporters and recipients.
